It is well known to all and everyone, that Saleh Selim did not like publicity; neither had he liked to be subject to any kind of the media instruments.
In spite of this, Saleh Selim because of his popularity appeared in the different public and private media much more than many who maybe wished and looked forward to appear in it.

The Egyptian public, likewise all the Arab public loved Saleh, because Saleh represented for them a Legendary hero…

They loved him, not because during his life Saleh was a great and excellent foot-ball player, they loved him not because he was a successful manager, they loved him not because he became the president of the biggest sporting club in the Middle east and Africa, El Ahly Club, that club that Saleh lead to many victories and made of it the first African club of the twentieth century.
They loved him because they found in Saleh Selim that legendary hero that the people always look for and dream of.

Saleh always fought for justice to be made, he was courageous and truthful. Many times Saleh fell into troubles because he was defending the right of El Ahly club, against many who wanted to harm the club ...and the people were watching. They loved him because he was proud, he never took advantage of his massive popularity, when this popularity opened all the closed doors wide open for him. They loved him because Saleh was a humble man, he never bragged about his successful situation or about the uncountable victories of El Ahly Club.
They loved him because Saleh never under any circumstances bent in front of anyone whatever was his power and never wheedled anyone whatever was his position.

After Saleh died, I visited a site on the net made by El Ahly club fans, I was surprised to see the enormous quantity of messages that were arriving to that site from all over the world, the messages were sent by lovers and fans of Saleh Selim, expressing their deep grief and their despair over the loss of their idol and great man Saleh Selim. In about a couple of hours thousands of messages were pouring on the site all coming from young people not believing they will never see Saleh Selim again.
For all those reasons a site on Saleh Selim had to be made, so that his fans and lovers can see and feel the legendary Saleh Selim who will never die in their souls and spirits.
